One of our trusted partners for this process is CLEAR. CLEAR specializes in biometric identity verification and ensures that only you can access your Payova account.
You must complete this step before you can fully use Payova services, including converting credit into cash, transferring funds, or connecting payment methods.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Start Verification
Log in to your Payova account
Navigate to "Verify Account" and click on "Verify with CLEAR"
Enter Phone Number
Provide your mobile phone number
Enter the one-time passcode over-the-phone (OTP).
Continue on Your Phone
Open your phone's camera and scan the QR code displayed.
If you cannot scan, choose "Send Link" to get a secure text message instead.
Upload Required Documents
A clear photo of a valid government-issued ID (driver's license, state ID, or U.S. passport)
Your SSN is required to comply with federal KYC regulations.
Note: Payova does not accept ITINs at this time.
Complete Biometric Verification
CLEAR will ask you to complete a live selfie or biometric verification to confirm you are the account holder.
This step ensures that your identity matches your submitted documents.
Confirmation
Most verifications are completed within minutes.
In some cases, CLEAR may request additional documentation.
You’ll receive a notification once verification is approved.

Until verification is completed, you will not be able to use core features including credit conversion, transfers, or withdrawals.
